Get Involved in Eugene, Oregon

Here is a listing of all the groups or organizations in Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon that I have been able to find in which you might wish to get involved. These include groups or organizations that typically use volunteers to do their work, as well as any other group that gets together for any reason, be it activist groups, recreational groups, political parties, neighborhood groups or whatever. If it is a group that the general public is able to join or get involved with, it is included. I wish for the list to be as comprehensive as possible. The purpose of this listing, however, is not to "advertise" for businesses or for-profit organizations, so no such organizations are listed. The requirement to have to pay membership dues, though, does not exclude an organization from inclusion herein. The listing also does not include temporary classes or functions that are not intended to be ongoing.

I have provided a link to the local group's web site if it has one; otherwise, I provide a link to the parent organization's website, or in some cases another site which has information about the group. If none of these are available I have provided an email contact, if known. I have also provided a local phone number if availale. The primary activity of each group may be my best guess, or will be their own description if they have responded with that information. (If you believe that the information is not accurate about any particular group, please contact that group and have them come to this page and update the info.) I have listed each group/organization only once, trying to place it in the most appropriate category possible, so even if you are looking for a specific type of group you may wish to look around the rest of the listings to see if you find any pertinent groups.

If you know of any group that is missing from this list please use the link at the bottom of the page to let me know.

This list does not include student organizations at the University of Oregon or Lane Community College. If interested in student organizations, you may try the following links:         University of Oregon         Lane Community College

This page also does not include churches. Show list of churches.

One other thing: This listing is only for "established" groups or organizations. If you are trying to start a group of your own, we could have a page at this site to let people know about that also. You can submit any suggestions using the same link at the bottom of the page.
